Welcome to the homepage of the Five Mountain Zendo in Second Life (SL). We are an outreach of the Five Mountain Zen Sangha. Second Life is a wonderful way for those who are far from a Zendo to work with teachers and develop a practice in RL and for those who enjoy virtual worlds. Joining SL is free.

To learn more about Second Life please visit their webpage. You will need to download SL viewer software for your computer. The software is free and being a member of Second Life is also free. Once you have jioned SL, then return here and click on the SLURL below. It will take you to a link which will teleport you to our Zendo. You can also do a search in SL to find us. We also have a group in SL. Do a group search for “Five Mountain”

Five Mountain Zendo will offer services and Dharma Talks in Second Life. This will allow those who live far from an actual Zendo the ability to come for services and also study. Five Mountain Zen Sangha priests and teachers will be performing these services in different timezones of North America. The schedule board outside the zendo reflects service times and times that teachers have committed to be in SL for questions and guidence. The standard time zone for SL is Pacific Standard Time.
